Many years later while reading the news that Spa was not in the list of races for the 2006 F1 season, I was remembering the distant afternoon when schumacher took a thumping and authoritative victory in the splashing rains of Spa Francochamps, the Belgian Formula 1 Granprix. At that time formula 1 was a sport of speed, agression and danger. Many things would change soon after in the Formula 1 universe that would start with the tragic deaths of the illustrous and great Senna and the lesser known Ronald Ratzenberger on the same week end of the San Marino Imola Grand Prix at the very same Tamberalla bend.
